In addition to the steel version, SMPS™ that has the same functionality, the new SMPP™ Self-Clinching Nut installs into stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.025" / 0.64 mm.
Main Features:
• Installs into stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.025” / 0.64 mm.
• Corrosion resistance similar to 300 series stainless steel.
• Reduced outer dimensions and thinner sheet capabilities compared to type SP thread sizes.
• Recommended for use in stainless steel sheets HRB 90 / HB 192 or less.
• The knurl design on the SMPP™ Self-Clinching Nut is improved for better push-out and torque-out performance (The new knurl design has led to a larger C/L to Edge dimension compared to the steel version SMPS™).
